"The Grass is Always Greener On the Other Side of the Fence". What does this saying means? Its mean that we all wish something that we do not own. We always see what people have and we also want that things although we have something that is better than that. People will always not feel satisfied with what they have. As a human, no one in this earth can overcome the feeling of unsatisfied with what they have. People will find way to fulfill all of their wishes and desires no matter how. Unfortunately, we do not have that ability to fulfill all our desires. As a result, we feel that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.

Actually, the desires and thought to be in a better place and the feeling of unsatisfied is a good thing. We automatically will fight to get ourselves in a condition that we wish for.  But is it actually true that things are better somewhere else than where we are now, or is it nothing but just a common illusion that we all experienced?

From my experienced, once we have achieved our goal, we will feel to get better than that. If it is about our study, this is a great thing. But if it is about our personal thing, such as a car, or a house, we are quite materialistic and this will burden ourselves. Be thankful with what you have.  So, this feeling has its bad and good side.    

"My Top 5 Awesome Things"

                                              

         When we talk about awesome things, there a lot things that play around our brain. Everyone likes something that great, amazing, fun and most importantly, all those thing will make them not easily forget about it.

         My top 5 awesome things is, firstly about "marvelous food". No one will deny the delicious food when all this food in front our eye. In which the felling of  satiety will be felt hungry again when we see the marvelous food. But remember control your diet!!


        
          Second things is about phone. I fell awesome when having a phone. With this phone I can get in touch with anyone at any time. My phone also has a variety of functions not only make calls and send messages. When I felt boring and lonely, my phone as an entertainer.


    
       Thirdly is about "Finishing our last exam". This matter is awaited by the students during the examination week.We can not wait to get out of pressure of exam and want to fell freely without it. Congratulation for those that excellent and keep up for those that not get the awesome result.


                                            


               Fourthly awesome things is about "money". I fell awesome went I get a lot of money and purchasing power is in my hand. I can buy anything that desired for a long time. But buying if we felt it really important to us.

                                            

       Last but not list, the awesome thing is when can go back to home during semester break. This time to me to spend time with family after so long away from them. Beside that, we can release pressure of studying with do anything that we like at home.

Blogging has become a trend now. Malaysia are stated as one of the country with the highest number of blogger. Many news, current issue and recent world development are spread through blog.

There are many advantages of blogging, some of them are:

1. Blogging brings lots of knowledge.
People may change ideas through blog. Blog has become the largest source of tutorials, making money and any current issue and news.

2. Improve writing skills.
Blog may help people to improve their writing skill. For those who has blog, read your first and your latest entry. I'm sure theres lots of different in your way on writing. and For sure, the latest entry has a better writing style.

Tsunami and Nuclear Explosion Japan

Few days ago, Japan was stroked by a massive earthquake and tsunami. An 8.9 magnitude earthquake struck at 14.46 local time Friday under the Pacific Ocean about 250 miles from Tokyo at a depth of 15 miles has killed almost 1300 victims.

Almost all including boats, lorries, and buildings being carried miles inland.

The most worrying part is that 10,000 people are missing in the port town of Minamisanriku.

The devastating tsunami that hits Japan has become even more serious due to the explosion of nuclear power plant.

The explosion happens due to failure of cooling system of the power plant caused by the tsunami.

Japan's nuclear safety agency said 6 workers were injured but it is not clear whether they are exposed to radiation or not .

More than 180,000 people have evacuated the area in recent days, and up to 160 may have been exposed to radiation.

Great Leaders are Not Born, They are Made

What an interesting topic right?  Nowadays we can see a lot of people fighting and arguing among each other just to get the title of being a great leader. If they are truly a great leader, it is okay, but then, some seem not really qualified to be a leader. They just want to get the title. For the three of us, we don’t really agree with this topic. We think that great leaders are born, they are not made.

Great leaders have their own way to lead us. They will put duty before self. Their missions come first. They will completely focus on their mission and their follower first before their personal interest. Lets us see the example of great leader of our country, Tun. Dr Mahathir. He really takes good care of the country management and us.  He knows how to care and manage the country because he is born to. He himself already has the character to be a leader. He is not made to be forced to be a leader.

A person who is made to be a leader may have some of the characteristics to be a leader, but he will be not as great as a leader who is born to. He may have lack of knowledge on how to lead us.  

Leadership is a responsibility. People will put a high hope on you for you to lead them in a good way. Leadership is also a trust. People choose you to be the leader because they trust on you. If they don’t trust you, they will not choose you. Isn’t right? People can see whether we are a leader who is born to or we are a leader who is made to become a leader. For us, great leader are born to be.

  

   If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become   more you are a leader.

Election Day

  On 15 February 2011, MICET held an election to select the student representative.The election campaign was progressing well and was very lively . Each candidate did a manifesto to win the hearts of their students to vote them.
 
  Each student must vote during the election because of  responsibility. If they were not carrying out their duties, they do not fulfill the trust, trust which is given by the people on the basic of trust in their leader to build a side.

  We, as student, have the right to determine our leaders.For example, if there are two candidates who would be a leader, one of the leader which we know he is lacking in performing his duties and another one candidate is good, then because of less one vote, a candidate who does not supposed to win will be a winner and be a leader at the campus.

 So what are we waiting for?  Let come out to vote our leaders. Let us fulfill our responsibility!!

"Should we give monetary incentives to the KP 2 students to motivate them to get better grades??"

    KP? What is KP? Why is this thing always boasting the students and lectures? This is a nightmare for MICET students. KP in malay we called as "Kedudukan Pemerhatian", which is CGPA below 2.0.

   How to avoid KP?Should we give monetary incentives to the KP 2 students to motivate them to get better grade? We totally disagree. There many other ways that we can do to help them, but not with "MONEY".

  One of the reasons why we do not support it is because it will lead to misguided intentions of students. They study hard not because of the reward, but due to the real goal. Money is valuable, but not all things can be valued by money.

   Furthermore, enthusiasm for them to continue diligent study will not last long. We as ordinary people have many weaknesses, especially in term of establishment. Until when we want to bribe them with money?

  Here we emphasize again, we "DISAGREE"! There are other alternative that could be implement to motivate KP students to raise their spirit. HEMS should notice that and help them to improved their grades.

Save your Pendrive

Almost all computer users today are using pen drive. Pen drive is a small, compact yet a very useful media used to store any data in term of document, mp3, and video. It came in many size of storage such as 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and also 16GB. However, this great invention will not works as good as its first time using it. Here are some tips to make sure your pen drive will always in its great condition.

1.       Make sure the pen drive is safely removed each time after using it. Removing the pen drive without ejecting it according to the procedure may cause damage to the system and the data inside.

2.       Scan your pen drive frequently. This will protect your pen drive from being infected by virus which may lead to damage to data stored.

3.       Keep you pen drive away from any liquid/drink. Any electronic devices should not be exposed to any liquid/drink because it may cause damage to your device. If this happen, dry it properly before use.

4.       Keep your pen drive in a safe place so that it will not fall off from a high place.

5.       Avoid it from magnetic field such as television and cell phone.

A pen drive stores many important data you needed. Keep your pen drive safely so that you will not loose any important data that may cause any difficulty.

Birth Order Trait

Some people said that birth order traits most likely affect our daily lives. It is whether you are a firstborn, middle born, last born or only child in your family. Are these order will show your traits, which determine who you are in this world? For the three of us, we guess so. For first born, they are more dominants, well –organized, very responsible and quite aggressive.

                                                  

For the middle born, they are more romantic. Romantic here means they have the ability to make a good relationship with all people around them. Usually the middle born will be the most attractive and charming to almost everyone they meet. A bit jealous right?

Here for the last born. They are more likely to be creative, not too responsible, see things seriously only when the conditions are really serious and they are more adventurous. Do you agree? For me, I agree with this statement.

For the only child?.  Sometimes they are responsible, sometimes they are quite pampered.

What about the soul mate? Does birth order also determine our soul mate? For the first born, their best match is usually the last born. Based on the theory, different character are usually more attracted to each other. So, who you think your best match?

We are born with different traits. So, love the way you are..

How to be a Good Bestie

Hello peeps :)

How are you today? Its been a long time since we have not update our blog. I always wanted to update this blog on time, but you know, we've got lots of assignment to be done and submitted and with all test and quizzes. I think that we should improve our time management and avoid procrastination (a word I just learn few weeks ago), I guess.

Today, I'm going to talk about friendship. I'm pretty sure that each and everyone of us have at least a best friend.  And if you have not, I suggest you to find one because a best friend worth more than a lover.

A best friend never cost a cent. A best friend are always there when you need, sharing the happiness and sadness. A friendship may fade and to enhance it back, you may follow the following tips:

1. Think of happy and memorable moment you and your best friend done for the past few week.

If you can't, it means that you should spend more time with your best friend. 

2. Ask for apology

If you just done or said something that you realize wasn't very thoughtful or may have hurt you friends feeling, call you friends straight away and ask for her apology. 

3. Lend him/her you shoulder

Ensure that you are the kind of friend which you friend feel they can turn to by being there to talk and support when they feel upset.

4. Accept your best friend as he/she is. Don’t insist that he/she make changes that will make him/she more like you. His/her differences are what make him unique and fun to be around.

That is all I can share to all of you for today. Friendship is one of the greatest gift of man kind. The bond of friendship is so wonderful that only the lucky person are said to have a good friend. Protect and enhance your friendship everyday so that the wonderful bond will never fade.

If I could rule the world, I would...

 If I could rule the world, I would like to ban nuclear weapons.This is because nuclear weapons are the first things that lead to war. Everyone in this world does not want to be in a chaos condition, so..why should we allow the usage of nuclear weapons??Peace..no war!!.. :)).. If the power to rule the world is in my hand, I  want everyone in this world in the pink of health by spend a large amount of money as a result of the ban on nuclear weaponds, thus, everyone can enjoy their life..happy always! Other than that, I want to focus on the safety of the world. Not because we do not have nuclear weapons means we are weak, but this can confirm our safety.

We Don't Like it When. . .

Like it or dislike? Have you ever list the things that you like or dislike? And for sure there will be tons of dislike things in your list rather than the one you like, right? A normal human being is a creature that love to complain whatever they see or faced, and so  for the three of us. These are the thing that we don't like and it  might be the same to all of you.

We don't like it when. . 

1. we feel sleepy but we still have to do our tutorial.

2. we want to go back home during the festive season but we have no ticket.

3. we went to class so excitedly but there's a note left saying that the class is canceled.

4. we want pizza hut so bad . Unfortunately, no money left.

5. we waited so long to use the coin washing machine but then someone crossed our line.

6. we are so hungry but the food are so expensive. (is it about food again?)

7. we attended the class but we don't understand anything during the lecture.

8. we want to download the notes and tutorial but the internet connection is so slow.

9. we want to photocopy some notes but the photocopy machine are out of service.

10. we are about to post the blog entry but suddenly the internet connection broke down!

We are so sure that the same thing just happened to you guys. Aren't we right? Don't you agree that problem makes people mature? Our life is dull without problem. How about yours?

Hijab has been a trend now especially among young women. Hijab refers to the head covering which worn by Muslim women.

Why do Muslim women have to cover their head?

Muslim women has to cover the head and the body because Allah want them to do so. Wearing hijab will show modesty in  Muslim women and they will also obey their religion. 

In Malaysia for example, the oldest trend of hijab and yet is still being worn wearing by most of hijab's user is tudung bawal.

After tudung bawal, most teens have switched to  modern scarf. Scarves with different patterns and styles has attracted the attention of teenagers.

Task 1: Educational Aspiration for 2011

This is our first task as we are asked to post an entry on our educational aspiration for year 2011. Well this should be a very aspiring entry I guess.

First of all, congrats to those who success in their final examination for semester July 2010. *clap clap.

For the three of us, we are not satisfied with the result. Well this actually aspire us to do our best this year.

People actually always learn from their mistakes. And for us, our main resolution for this year is 'Say No to Last Minute Works'.

People usually get inspire when see the success of others especially those in the family. For one of us, her brother is the one who aspire her. She adores her brother as he has become an oil and gas engineer in one of large companies in Malaysia.

Instead of others success, luxury cars and houses are most aspiring us. It is too cool to drive a luxury cars and live in our own house, isn't it? Its not about being so materialistic but this is the reality. Everyone must have dreaming to get a good job and have a luxury car and home.

Educational aspirations are an important variable in predicting academic achievement and may be seen as an element in academic achievement motivation, focusing as they do on the desire for success and the development to succeed in particular educational fields or to gain a particular degree.
